PGE FLANGE INSULATION

PGE flange insulation set consists of a center gasket with insulating sleeves and insulation washers / steel washers. The center gasket can be delivered with bolt holes (type E) or inside bolt holes (type F).
The PGE system includes overlapping and offset sealing grooves in the center gasket. The purpose of this design is to break each layer of laminate in the gasket itself, thereby creating a barrier to liquid and gas.

PGE flange insulation set can be delivered for pressure class up to PN40 / 600#.

Flange insulation kits are used to limit corrosion in pipeline systems. When using dissimilar metal flanges, the kits prevent the pipeline system from acting as a galvanic cell, reducing the risk of galvanic corrosion in the pipeline system.

Flange insulation kits are also used to insulate cathodically protected pipeline systems, where they prevent the flow of electrostatic charge.
